The Summit Hill Elementary PTA (SHE PTA) strives to provide enrichment programs designed to enhance the overall curriculum and education of our children as well as support the needs of our teachers and staff.

Our curriculum-based Science and Art programs – Discovery Lab and Art EDventures – provide the children a hands-on approach to learning with specific cross-curricular ties to the Georgia Education Standards for each grade level.  These programs are designed to reinforce the concepts learned in class in a fun and educational setting. 

Our Environmental Educational program fosters an appreciation for our environment among the SHE community and encourages children, teachers, staff and parents to actively participate in the care of our world.  The PTA maintains various courtyard gardens throughout the school and sponsors Earth Day and Georgia Arbor Day events during the academic year.

In addition to these curriculum-based programs, the SHE PTA offers direct support to teachers and staff in the form of funding for age-appropriate publications, journals and teaching materials.

All these programs are run by parent volunteers who are committed to the success of the children and the school. We encourage you to learn more about these programs and become involved.
